Buying Office Asia participated as an exhibitor in the Las Vegas Licensing Expo 2024, the largest and most influential event in the licensing industry. The Expo is known for bringing together vast amounts of brands, licensees, retailers, and manufacturers from around the world, providing a unique platform for networking and exploring new business opportunities.

The Las Vegas Licensing Expo annually attracts thousands of attendees from various sectors, including entertainment, sports, fashion, and consumer products. It’s a key venue for companies looking to expand their brand presence and forge new licensing deals. For Buying Office Asia, it was the perfect opportunity to connect with potential partners and showcase our extensive sourcing and procurement expertise.

This year, we were proud to attend alongside MGM Industries & Co., one of our long-standing manufacturing partners known for their exceptional work in premium plastic toys, figurines, and collectibles. By exhibiting together, we aimed to highlight our extensive network with top manufacturers like MGM Industries & Co. and demonstrate how we bridge the gap between our clients’ innovative ideas and high-quality manufacturing. Our role is to seamlessly guide companies through the complexities of sourcing and production, ensuring their projects move from concept to reality efficiently across a wide range of product categories.

At our booth, we displayed several examples of past projects, including high-quality plastic figurines and collectibles produced in collaboration with our customers and MGM Industries & Co. Visitors were impressed by the craftsmanship and attention to detail, which sparked many conversations about how Buying Office Asia can help turn product ideas into reality by connecting them with the right manufacturers and overseeing every step of the production process.

The Expo provided an incredible opportunity to meet with a diverse array of companies—from major TV networks and global hotel chains to some of the largest YouTube channels and startups launching their first physical products. Each conversation opened new doors, and it was inspiring to see the enthusiasm for creating high-quality products with the help of a reliable sourcing partner like us.

Additionally, many of the companies we spoke with at the Expo had been managing their sourcing and manufacturing independently, often facing significant challenges and inefficiencies when coordinating these processes remotely from the U.S.
However, after seeing and holding the results of our past projects and hearing in detail how these products came to life, many realized they had been struggling unnecessarily. With Buying Office Asia, they saw that they could achieve the same, if not better, results with much less effort and often at a similar or even lower cost.

Not to mention, they would save countless hours by allowing us to efficiently coordinate everything on the ground in Asia, from initial sourcing to final quality control.

While our partnership with MGM Industries & Co. was a highlight at the Expo, we also emphasized that our network extends far beyond plastic toys and figurines. At the Expo, we had engaging conversations with a diverse array of potential customers, spanning various categories from plush toys and branded gifts to hair styling tools and board games.

In just the two weeks since the Expo, we are proud to have already started four exciting new projects with companies we met there, and we are eagerly looking forward to establishing long lasting partnerships with many more in the coming months.
